Chantal's story assures us that Christ listens to our innermost desires; Chantal, who was feeling miserable at the thought of celebrating her eighteenth (18th) birthday without the warmth of her family, got a surprise birthday cake on her first visit to a nearby Opus Dei centre. There, she found a home away from home.
